Hello, guys! I have an
Audi 2000 A6 2,8 Q and I have already 125,000 miles on it. I've just changed the oil last week and While I was driving the oil presure lump came on and I stopped. I thoght I don't have enough oil and added some more. Soon after I drove the light came on again. I had to drive to the nearest town may be another 30 miles and then I towed the car to the dealership.
They told me that the pump wasn't working and didn't deliver oil everywhere and driven 30 miles worked a lot agaist the engine. There are lots of metal parts on the bottom of the oil pan.
Do you think that flushing the engine will help?
What is the reason for the oil pump to stop working normally?
Is it possible the promlem came because changing the oil wasn't properly?
Thanks!
