Well after waiting for the last year, Audi finally has come out with their solution for the A6 MMI iPod adapter. It is a complete replacement of the audio system and the glove box for a grand total of $1282.00. Who in their right mind is going to do this? Would it not have been better for Audi to just come out and say that they cannot come up with an adapter that works on the audio system installed in the 2005 & 2006 A6? I spoke with Audi Customer Care to try and find out who came up with this brilliant idea but obviously that was a gesture in futility.
Unbelievable and incredibly disappointing.
