Absolute waste of time - don't waste your money.

All they contain is a 5p resistor that fools the engine into thinking that it is a different temperature than it really is - thus making the engine react slightly differently.

Given that VAG spent millions in research & development and go to the bother of installing a temp sensor so that they can vary the mapping depending on temperature, it doesn't make sense to bypass it....
