Hi John, You are correct regarding the fuel consumption and the engine is real torqie.However when the car was in for testing they gave me a new A4 2.0tdi avant and there was a massive difference as far as the idling was concerned, still a slight vibration in the clutch though. Dont get me wrong this is a good car apart from these faults and I have to admit the sales team were excellent and when I get back from work hopefully we can get this sorted, but if they fob me off with the "this is just characteristic of the car" then I will be a very unhappy bunny
