Hope you don't mind me butting in, here is a safer way to identify what cylinder is misfiring, disconnect one injector plug at a time, if there is no change in idle speed that will be the one missing, or, disconnect a coil plug (quite tight). I say this because I have seen someone get a shock from 40,000 volts and it ain't pretty! Also there is a chance that the spark arcing out on the cylinder head can blow the engine control unit because all that energy goes down the earth line back to the ECU, (seen this too) the above method will put on the EML but in the long run it'll be cheaper in wallet and body. By the way, cleaning the MAF sensor rarely works as it is quite a sensitive instrument. If you have access to diag equipment, value block 13 or 14 will give you misfire detection.
