If you upgraded your ECU for a bit more boost then it probably is your DV. Most people always change them if they upgrade the ECU!

Cheaper gas is not always good, was it at a steady 12psi or was it ranging between 12 and 14psi?

Let me know if I can help you!

I have a 1999 A4 Avant and I just had APR software installed. Last night I filled up with 93 Oct from a “no name” gas station. Their 93 was 20 cents cheaper than the Mobil gas station next to it. The car started fine this morning but I was only reading about 12lbs of max boost instead of the 14.5 lbs.

If the “no name” gas station sold me a lower grade of gas could it cause a loss in boost or should I start looking for another solution perhaps the DV valve?
