I mean the 2.5 lump makes the car a bit too front heavy.
It is a very strong smooth engine compared to the 4 cylinder versions, and probably will take more boost with a VNT-25 (if it fits in the engine bay), but the vnt-25 probably has a bit too much lag with it.
I think for day to day driving, a PD150 'VB' VNT-17 or VNT-20 is probably a good compromise between lag, charge temp and power.
The larger turbo's tend to give lower EGT's than a standard turbo.
I think 220bhp would be an ideal level of safe power for a 1.9TDI.
