I have a concert II radio
Dealer wanted like $150 for installation, so went with a street installer, $35 since I didnt had the "removal tool" to pull out the stereo, install was a very simpe task.
The performance of the adapter istelf? urghhhh :-( horrible, if you dont have playslists on your ipod, it works like this: its stars from the very firts song from the letter A, you advance the tracks like a huge CD one by one or you can jump further with the right knob, the worst thing here is that the tracks appear on your radio without names! only says track 1, track 2, track 3, etc... in my case I plug the ipod and starts to play "take on me" by A-ha this means Im in the letter A area, so I turn the knob to until reaches for example the track 50 "Enter Sandman" Metallica ....ahh that means thtat Im in the letter M so.... Of I want to listen to Joyride by Roxette this means that I would have to search it until I "feel" that the letter R section is near...... URGHHH!! do all this while you are driving! in 15 minutes you will get frustrated and mad, and the switch to radio or insert a CD
Ths sound is great, but the search features are horrible,
No track name info in radio screen, cannot jump to spcecific songs.
IMHO: I would get rid of it!
