I took delivery of a 2006 S6 in December. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so all season tires were on my list. After looking for some in the 19", I opted to go with the 18" wheels (bit less harsh, too, I'm sure).
I purchased the following from Tire Rack and have had excellent luck with them so far (7,000+ miles), but I can't help with 19" tires, sorry:
