How did he know that...
I went to Advance Auto Parts last weekend after my battery began acting weak. The attendant checked it and the alternator was charging OK, but the battery could not hold much charge. The battery was 6 years old, so we changed it.
The attendant then told me that the car would run funny for several days until the computer "re-compensated" (??). I though that sounded like a bunch of bunk, but on the way home, it died at every intersection. I thought maybe he knew something I didn't... or have never heard of.
It's now been 10 days and it still dies immediately at every stop sign.
I've serarched the internet and this forum, maybe I not using the correct search terms. Is there a way to "reset" the computer or make it wake up?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
