most definately the wheel bearing. i had the exact same problem as you (constant, loud noise, going away when you turn and coming back when you straighten out). i have already done my driver's side rear and the noise subsided. when i took it out for a test drive, the noise was now coming from the driver's side front. i ordered another bearing and it should be here soon. the teardown begins again.
