You need to remove the black plastic or wood surround plate that is above the radio. Be careful as there are six clips that hold this in and it can be difficult to get out. If you crack the plastic that damage is not too bad. I think about $30, but if you break the wood it is about $150. Your best bet is to pull out the radio with some radio removal keys and pry the plate forward toward you with a plastic puddy knife. Good luck.
