Default Audi specialist near Glasgow?

I am looking for an Audi diesel specialist near Glasgow, Scotland. I bought an A6 1.9TDI Avant a few months ago and its a high mileage car being an ex-lease, so want to get it checked out and rather than go and pay a fortune at the Audi dealer I'd rather take it to a specialist who really know their Audis.

When I'm cruising along, neither accelerating or slowing, just tickling the gas pedal to maintain speed on the flat - doesn't matter what speed or conditions - sometimes when I just start to take my foot off the gas pedal, the engine seems to hickup. Just now and again, not always! Almost a misfire. Sorry don't know how else to explain it. Just wondering if the diesel pump or a sensor needs attention.

Also, several of my friends have the same(or similar) engine in their cars and they tell me they get 10 miles more to the gallon than me. On the computer I get 43mpg on average - on a motorway run, or even on the suburban run about it seems to be the same fuel consumption. My pal with his Passat 1.9TDI 115 gets 52mpg average, and my other pal with his A3 2.0 TDI gets 48-54mpg on a motorway run. Maybe its just because the A6 Avant is bigger/heavier but interested to hear what anyone else with a diesel has to say.

As a result and the high mileage for a 4 year old car (100k miles) I thought I'd better get it checked!

Thanks,
Paul
