i have been getting through gas struts quite quickly these days as i have a bike rack attached most of the time. As the Audi ones are not designed for the extra weight i tried
sgs-engineering.com for my latest pair and they are still going strong (the others only lasted 6 months!). I think they supply industrial struts but also do a full range for cars and the price was about right. i didnt realise at the time but they actually re-gas struts aswell
