Ok, another idea! It seems through the various postings that the on-board electronics are pretty sensitive to an aging battery. If the voltage starts dropping off, it appears to interfer with the electronics and makes them unreliable. Read up on these older postings here. This might be an idea to try.
My bad, I forgot to update you guys. I finally figured out what was the problem. In fact it was NOT a problem at all. It is a feature that I was not aware of. But long story short on the end of my wind shield wiper switch is a rocker switch that you can push to set up a timer. Well I guess I hit it and did not realize it and I set the time to on but did not set up a time so it just displayed 99:59h until I reset it. Silly me
But yeah that was the deal, I learn something new everyday about that car!
